I have been so busy I have not had time to post any news! But we have alot!  In September I took my OTTB rescue, Bocephus aka Hillbilly Deluxe to his FOREVER home in Texas! He was adopted by my good friend Kristina who is originally from Boulder City, NV.  She works at Haverty Ranch in Texas as a breeding manager. She also attends North Central Texas College. She has already showed him in a local college show. He did awesome! She plans to take him to a horse trial this fall. Good luck girl!

In November, I went to New Mexico to pick up my next project! A filly! She comes from The 4:13 Ranch in OK.  She is a Fresian Heritage Horse. Her Sire is an imported Fresian and her Dam is an Andalusian/Arabian cross. The perfect combo!  She has already learned so much! I am very excited for her progress. She will be 1 at the end of April.

Tricia has been working with her sport pony, Ginger, who won the jumpers class at the Utah Summer games 2013.  Trish has geared her training more towards barrel racing. She recently won some cash at the BC Racers event and Ginger shows great progress and potential. I will continue jumping her as well.

Our lesson program is in full swing. We have Callie my lesson horse teaching all the youngsters how to ride. And we are looking to expand with another lesson horse soon.

Our first show of the year went great at Cooper Ranch Dressage!

Lindsey and Sabrina both took home ribbons in their divisions.

Sabrina will be contending for championship classes at the end of the year by doing her best at every show this season!

Lindsey showed her horse Legally Blonde for the first time. She is a 5 year old mare who Lindsey has trained and raised on her own. They will continue this show season striving for those blue ribbons!

I showed my off the tack Thoroughbred for his first time out. He surprised me and behaved himself for the most part. Hillbilly Deluxe will continue to be shown at the Cooper Ranch Dressage shows for the rest of the season.

We have many shows and clinics planned this season. Including the Open shows at Color Country Equestrian, Utah. Cross Country clinic at Flagstaff and Fall Horse Trials at Flagstaff. In between we will have Cooper Ranch Dressage and some local clinics hopefully with Will Faeber and Greg Best at Talisman Farms!

With the donations we made we will be purchasing some new equipment for our #2 show. Also look forward to our larger event in November!

Our Dressage show at BCHA was a hit! We setup our Dressage arena for the first time and it went smoothly. We had many riders who were new to Dressage and they learned so much! Thank you to Dianne Dawes for judging. She did a great job and was very helpful explaining the test scores to the riders. We can't wait for the next one!
